The tournament is announced for the following categories:
U11 girls, boys and mix (born on January 1, 2015 and younger)
U12 girls and boys (born on January 1, 2014 and younger)
U14 girls and boys (born on January 1, 2012 and younger)
U16 girls and boys (born on January 1, 2010 and younger)
Each team consists of a maximum of 15 players, in the U14 and U16 category a maximum of 12 players.
U11 and U12 categories play with size 5 ball, U14 and U16 girls with size 6 ball and U14 and U16 boys with size 7 ball.
The height of the baskets in the U11 and U12 categories is 260 cm, in the U14 and U16 categories the height of the basket is 305 cm.
Each participant is obliged to present an ID upon request to verify their age. Photo and date of birth required.
The tournament is played according to the official basketball and minibasketball rules for the 2025/26 season with the following changes:
U11 and U12
– Played 4x8 minutes running time
– Time stops only during timeouts and in the last 2 minutes of the fourth quarter
– One free throw is awarded for 2 points ("and 1" – one free throw for 1 point)
U14 and U16
– Played 4x8 minutes stop time
– Substitutions according to basketball rules (passarella cancelled)
All categories
– Each team has 1 time-out in the 1st half, 2 time-outs in the 2nd half and 1 time-out in overtime
– All breaks between quarters and before overtime are 2 minutes, halftime break is 5 minutes
– Mandatory substitution of a player occurs after 4 fouls
– Free throws are executed at the 5th team foul
– In case of a tie the overtime is 3 minutes stopped clock
– If overtime does not decide, 3 series of free throws follow (3 players each shooting once, the home team starts). If still undecided, it continues with one player from each team until the decision, with other players than in the first 3 series.
– Each team must be present at least 5 minutes before the start of each game – failure to comply with this rule will be punished by 5 points awarded to the opponent team
In case of equal points in the group, the following criteria decide the ranking:
1. Head-to-head match
2. Score difference
3. Higher number of points scored
4. Lower number of points conceded
5. Free throw shoot-out
Each team is entitled to file a protest against the result of the game or the game management to the organizing committee, no later than 10 minutes after the end of the game, together with a deposit of 500 CZK (20 €). In case of rejection the deposit falls to the organizer.
The organizer is not materially responsible for the property of players and coaches. All teams are obliged to take care of their belongings to prevent possible thefts.
The draw of the tournament will take place after the registration deadline and will be sent together with the game system to the e-mail address provided in the application.
Each team warms up with its own balls. The organizer provides only game balls.
